Warranty, Refunds and Exchanges


All items ship with a 30-Day replacement / 14-Day money back warranty**. The warranty covers DOA and manufacturer defects. If your part fails within the first 30 days, we will be more than happy to replace it for you. It is the customers responsibility to fill out the RMA Request form within the first 30 days to be eligible for a replacement or first 14 days to be eligible for a refund. All parts are shipped with a tamper proof security barcode to ensure the part came from CPU Medics, which must still be intact to receive a replacement or refund. All returned items will be fully inspected to ensure it was the same part that was shipped, in the same condition. Any part being returned must be sent back complete with all original documents, packing, accessories and in the same condition it was originally received in.

RMA Procedure

If you need to return a part, an RMA number is required. Please fill out our RMA Request Form with as much detailed information as possible. A customer service agent will respond to your request by phone or email within 24 hours. If your RMA claim has been approved, you will be assigned an RMA number. At this time you may proceed to ship the package back to our facility. REMINDER: All returns must be shipped back to us within 7 business days or the return will be denied.

Please Note: Customer is responsible for return shipping charges unless an incorrect part was shipped. In this case, we will reimburse freight charges shipped by USPS First Class.


To be eligible for a refund, you must be within our 14 day return policy. Please allow up to 7 business days for all refunds to be processed. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE


All parts being returned for replacement are subject to test prior to being issued a replacement. Please allow approximately 24-72 hours for testing. Once we have tested the item and confirmed the defect, a replacement will be issued in approximately 24-48 hours.


Refunds for tablets will only be issued if the tablet remains factory sealed. There are no refunds or exhanges for opened tablets. No exceptions.

Factory Sealed Parts

Any product that is sold as factory sealed must remain that way to be eligible for a refund within the first 14 days. If the factory seal has been cut, the item can only be exchanged for identical product within the first 30 days.

Packages Refused by Customer

Any package that is refused by the customer and returned to us, is subjected to the UPS $12.50 refusal fee in addition to the restocking fee.

Cisco Hardware Licensing

For all refurbished or pre-owned hardware, the software contained is subject to any licensing requirement by the manufacturer and is the responsibility of the customer.

** iPhone Replacement Screens

iPhone replacement screens, LCD's and digitizers are covered under warranty for 14-days only. This warranty is good for replacement or money back (buyers choice). Returns are subject to approval and must be returned in the same condition. 

Restocking Fees

20% OR $20 whichever is greater = For UNOPENED items.
27% OR $27 whichever is greater = For OPENED items.

RMA Denials

CPU Medics reserves the right to deny a claim for RMA under the following circumstances:

1. If we receive the part incomplete without all the original packing, documents and accessories.
2. If the part has been returned damaged (scratches, cracks, dents, over-clocked, etc).
3. If our security barcode has been tampered with.
4. If the part has been altered in any way from it's original state.
5. If the claim is being made passed the 30-Day Replacement / 14-Day Refund warranty.
6. If you are returning an order without an RMA number or an RMA approval.
7. If a product was sold as factory sealed and the part has been opened.
