If you have to return your order for any reason within the first 30-days, please fill out our RMA Request Form and we’ll get the RMA started for you. Please be advised that some returns may be subject to a restocking fee (see restocking fee section for details).
Returns must be sent back complete with all original accessories, documents, packing, and the product must be in the same condition it was when originally received. We reserve the right to refuse any RMA if the return contents are incomplete, if the product is not returned in the same condition as received or If the RMA request is outside the warranty period.
Requesting an RMA is simple. Please fill out our RMA Request Form with as much detailed information as possible. We will respond to your request by phone or email within 72 hours. If your RMA claim has been approved, we will email you with your RMA number and the return instructions. Once the RMA number has been issued, please have the return sent back within 7 days.
You may return your order for a refund within the first 30-days. If a product is found to be DOA, defective or if we sent a part that is not compatible with what you ordered – we’ll issue a full refund of the purchase price.
To be eligible for a refund, you must be within our 30 day return policy. Please allow up to 7 business days for all refunds to be processed.
All parts being returned for replacement are subject to test prior to being issued a replacement. Please allow approximately 24-72 hours for testing. Once we have tested the item and confirmed the defect, a replacement will be issued in approximately 24-48 hours.

WHEN IS RESTOCKING FEE APPLICABLE?
Restocking fees are applied when parts are ordered incorrectly; the customer no longer needs the part, the customer changes his/her mind and wants to return the part, or if the part returned is found to be in working order.
PACKAGES REFUSED BY CUSTOMER
Packages that are refused by the customer are subject to the UPS $13.00 refusal fee.
CPU Medics reserves the right to deny any claim for RMA if it does not meet the terms outlined on this webpage. Some reasons an RMA claim could be denied a refund/replacement could be (but not limited to) –
- If the part returned to us is incomplete – missing any of the original packing, documents and accessories.
- If the part has been returned damaged (scratches, cracks, dents, over-clocked, etc).
- If our security barcode has been tampered with.
- If the part has been altered in any way from its original condition.
- If the claim is being made passed the 30-Day warranty period.
- If you are returning an order without an RMA number or an RMA approval.
- If a product was sold as factory sealed and the part has been opened.
EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERAGE
Certain products have extended warranty options available. If an item has an extended warranty coverage option, it will be displayed on the item page as a option to purchase. If an extended warranty is purchased, this coverage begins on the day the item is delivered.
In the event your product fails due to a manufacturer defect or normal wear and tear, CPU Medics will either repair or replace your item at no cost to you. The extended warranty does NOT cover any type of physical damage, overclocking, or damage caused by improper use. Please see below for extended warranty FAQ.
When does coverage start?
Coverage starts on the day the product was delivered and ends on the last day of the warranty period that was purchased.
Coverage protects against manufacturer defects and normal wear and tear defects (operational defects only).
What's not covered?
Physical damage, damage due to improper use, overclocking, lost / stolen items, cosmetic issues.
Is there a deductible?
No, there is no deductible.
How will my part be serviced?
CPU Medics will first attempt to repair the product. If we're unable to do so, we'll replace it with either the exact part number or a 100% compatible replacement - if the exact part number is not available.
What if you cannot repair or replace my item?
In the event that we cannot repair or replace an item, we'll refund the prorated amount of the remaining warranty as well as the prorated value of the product.
What is the turnaround time on repairs, replacements, or a prorated reimbursement?
Typically 3-5 days depending on the item availability.
Who is responsible for return shipping?
The customer is responsible for returning the defective item to us for repair/replacement, CPU Medics is responsible for shipping the repaired unit/replacement - applicable to domestic and international orders.
How many times will CPU Medics replace the item if it fails under warranty?
We'll issue a one (1) time replacement if your item fails under warranty.
If you wish to cancel your extended warranty, you may do so within the first 30-days only. On the 31st day, the extended warranty is in effect, and can no longer be cancelled.
Limitation Of Liability
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CPU MEDICS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE CPU MEDICS PRODUCT OR ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION STORED IN THE CPU MEDICS PRODUCT.
THE FOREGOING LIMITATION SHALL NOT APPLY TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS, OR ANY STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL AND GROSS NEGLIGENT ACTS AND/OR OMISSIONS. CPU MEDICS DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY CPU MEDICS PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR REPLACE THE CPU MEDICS PRODUCT WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF INFORMATION STORED ON THE CPU MEDICS PRODUCT.
