Processor compatibility is limited to the original first-generation E5-1600 and E5-2600 platform. E5-1600 v2 and E5-2600 v2 processors use the same general LGA2011 socket family but are not included in the supported T3600 processor generation.

Core i7 LGA2011 processors and Xeon E5-4600-series processors should not be selected solely because they physically fit the socket.

Populate the DIMM sockets with white retention tabs before the sockets with black retention tabs. The installed processor and memory combination determines the final operating speed; DDR3-1600 memory may operate at DDR3-1333 when required by the processor.
