⚙️ Fit Notes
- This adapter is only for HP systems that use the 7.4x5.0mm “big-tip” blue barrel connector and require a 230W 19.5V 11.8A adapter. It will not fit models that use the smaller 4.5x3.0mm blue-tip connector or USB-C charging.
- Always match voltage (19.5V), connector type (7.4x5.0mm big-tip), and equal or higher wattage (230W vs your original). Amperage can be higher than the original adapter but should not be lower.
- For systems originally shipped with a lower-wattage 7.4x5.0mm adapter (for example 150W or 200W big tip), this 230W adapter is often an approved upgrade when the connector and voltage match; if unsure, contact us.
