⚙️ Fit Notes

• The server must have a 2.5-inch SFF Smart Carrier drive cage. This drive will not fit an LFF 3.5-inch bay.
• The installed backplane and controller must support SAS drives. SATA-only controller configurations, including systems relying solely on an S100i controller, will not operate this SAS drive.
• The 12Gbps specification is the maximum interface speed. The drive may negotiate at 6Gbps when connected to an older controller or backplane.
• For RAID replacements, confirm the existing array uses 1.2TB or smaller 512n SAS drives. Do not assume 512e or 4Kn drives are interchangeable in an existing array.
• The ML350 Gen10 requires the appropriate redundant fan configuration when operating 10K or 15K SAS drives. Verify whether fan cage kit 874572-B21 is required for the installed configuration.
• Gen10 Plus and Gen11 Basic Carrier bays use a physically different carrier. This Smart Carrier drive does not fit those bays as supplied.
• Bare manufacturer mechanism numbers and P51133-002 can appear in more than one carrier family. Always verify that the actual drive includes the required Smart Carrier and digitally signed firmware.
