  • The listed rail ratings are documented on EP071298 and EP071350 production labels. Label formatting may vary by revision; confirm the 320W rating, complete module label, connector, and server configuration.
  • EP071298 and EP071350 are replacement-family equivalents but different production revisions. A historical field report describes a fault indication when an EP071350 was mixed with existing EP071298 units in a PowerEdge 4300. For the lowest mismatch risk, use supplies with matching manufacturer models and revisions in the same server.
  • Do not confuse the original PowerEdge 4300, 4400, 6300, or 6400 with later R430, R440, R630, R640, DL4300, or C6400 systems. Those later systems use entirely different power supplies.
  • This is not a standard desktop ATX power supply. It connects directly to proprietary server power-distribution hardware and has no attached motherboard or drive-power cables.
  • Confirm that the server has the correct hot-plug PSU cage, rails, and distribution or paralleling board. Similar wattage or exterior dimensions alone do not establish compatibility.
