Not USB-C: This cable does not plug directly into a USB-C port.
Not standard Micro-USB: The USB 3.0 Micro-B plug is wider than the smaller Micro-USB 2.0 plug used by many older phones.
Not USB 3.0 Type-B: It will not fit the larger, square USB 3.0 Type-B port used by some printers and desktop peripherals.
External power: Desktop drives and docking stations that require a separate power adapter will still need their own power supply.
Transfer speed: Actual speed depends on the connected device, computer port and other equipment.
