• TPM 2.0 operation requires UEFI mode; only TPM 1.2 operation is supported in Legacy boot mode. Changing an existing system from Legacy to UEFI can prevent the operating system from booting unless the storage layout and operating system are prepared for UEFI, so follow the server and operating-system conversion procedure first.
• The original MicroServer Gen10 uses a different TPM kit. Only the original MicroServer Gen10 Plus model is included in the compatibility list above; the later Gen10 Plus v2 has embedded TPM 2.0.
